Do you take commissions?

Yes! I’m open to personal commissions and professional freelance work. Feel free to email me, us my contact form, or message through instagram!

What materials do you work with?

I love experimenting with new materials, and I use a combination of traditional and digital supplies. I use gouache, watercolor, graphite, colored pencils, and ink, but that’s by no means an exclusive list. I use an Epson Perfection v600 scanner to digitize my artwork, Adobe Suite, an XP-Pen 16 inch display tablet, a mac desktop computer, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, and an Ipad Pro.

Where do you get your ideas?

Lay on the floor with my eyes closed until I see something cool.

I feed my creative brain bits with nature, fun times with friends, learning about history and things that interest me, and by watching, looking, and consuming inspiring things. It’s very important to always have an open but critical mind, to observe and think about the world around you

Yes, but I only take on projects that I am very passionate about. If you think your sensibilities match with my portfolio, please reach out! However, I do not do adult books or books that have a medical setting or theme.

Do you work with self-publishing authors?

Yes! My wonderful agent is Janna Morishima. She’s the founder of Janna Co and also the founder of Kids Comics Unite.

Do you have an agent?

Right now I make a lot of short videos on TikTok and instagram, which range from process videos, to art supply tips, to goofs. I also have a youtube channel, which I hope to make more longer form videos soon. I hope to make classes and more video content in the future.

Do you make videos or lessons?

In 2019 I was an Artist in Residence at the Plano Harrington Library, and while I was there I held two workshops! They were a lot of fun, and I absolutely love teaching and sharing creativity with others. I would love to have the opportunity to do more stuff like that! When my own books come out in the future I plan to do lots of school visits. If you’re an event organizer, a school, or any one interested in holding an illustration work shop I would love to hear from you!

What about workshops or in person talks?
